An Award of $2500 to support a Māori student enrolled in the third year or above of the Bachelor of Health Science – Midwifery programme at AUT.

One award of $5000 will be offered annually to assist a Manurewa High School student who is planning to enroll in a three or four year degree course at a NZ tertiary institute. The Award will be paid in three instalments, $2,000 for the first two years, then $1,000 for the final year of study.

An award to assist women who have qualified to graduate with a doctoral degree within the last two years* to carry out research on a limited term project.
*Please note that this timeframe has been extended to three years to take into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One award to assist a woman graduate who will have completed a minimum of 3 years full-time, or six years part-time study towards a PhD or named Doctorate to have one semester free of teaching or administrative duties to facilitate completion of her PhD or named Doctorate qualification.

Up to eight Master’s Degree awards to assist women graduates to carry out study for a Master’s Degree at an approved Institute in the Auckland area. The awards will be made for a year of study that includes either coursework and/or a research component.
