2026 Kate Edger Foundation School Competition. Applications are now open!
Kindly sponsored Timeless Images Photography (family portraits, graduation photos, newborns & corporate portfolios).
We invite all Year 12 and 13 students to enter our 2026 schools competition.
As Kate Edger Foundation celebrates 21 years of empowering women in education, this year’s theme is “Our Pathways”, which can be interpreted in many ways.
We encourage you to explore the people, experiences, places, challenges, and/or opportunities that have influenced your paths and inspire your futures. You may decide to draw inspiration from the pathway of Kate Edger and her lasting legacy. You can apply in any way (art, written piece, poetry, video/film, music, etc) in which our theme resonates with you.
We offer the following prizes:
- 1st Prize: $1,000
- 2nd Prize: $500
- 3rd Prize: $300
- 2 Highly Commended Awards: $100 each
Important Details:
Theme: Our Pathways
- Written entries: 450 words maximum.
- Video entries: 1 Minute maximum.
Eligibility:
- Open to all year 12 & 13 students in the Auckland and Northland regions
- Must be a NZ Citizen or a Permanent resident.
