How do I apply for a Kate Edger Foundation award

Am I eligible for an award?
The conditions for each award are listed on the website. To read the criteria please download the award application you are applying for. Page 1 of each application form contains detailed criteria for each award which you can use to determine if you are eligible.
Do you have awards for part-time study?
Our awards are for full-time students, however exceptions may be allowed for students who are studying part-time due to health conditions or disability.

Who can apply?
Our awards are only open to New Zealand citizens and Permanent Residents, as demonstrated by possession of a Permanent Resident Visa. Our awards are primarily open to students enrolled at the following accredited institutes in the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Tai Tokerau Northland regions: Northtec, The University of Auckland, Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Unitec, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), Whitecliffe College of Art and Design, Te Wānanga o Aotearoa (Auckland/Northland campuses), and Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi (Auckland). If you are studying at a different institute, you may be eligible to apply for certain awards. Please contact us to confirm your eligibility before applying.
Are your awards open to non-New Zealand residents?
Our awards are only available for New Zealand citizens and New Zealand Permanent Residents. That is, those whose passport states ‘Permanent Resident Visa’, where person can leave and return from New Zealand at any time without restriction (their visas do not expire).
Are Australian citizens able to apply for the Kate Edger Foundation Award?
Australian citizens are not eligible to apply for our awards, unless they have New Zealand Citizenship or a Permanent Resident Visa.
