A number of Awards of between $300 and $10,000 are available to assist the children of Westferry Property Services staff with educational activities and services.

Thanks to the generous support of the Gattung Foundation, this award is intended to support wāhine and help them forge their futures using their lived recovery experience to assist those who come after them. The funding will recognise the hard work, outstanding contribution and change-making potential demonstrated by a graduate of the AODTC.
Nominees for the Award will be put forward for consideration by the lead Judge with oversight of the AODTC, in consultation with the other AODTC Judges.

An Award of $2500 to support a Māori student enrolled in the third year or above of the Bachelor of Health Science – Midwifery programme at AUT.

One award of $5000 will be offered annually to assist a Manurewa High School student who is planning to enroll in a three or four year degree course at a NZ tertiary institute. The Award will be paid in three instalments, $2,000 for the first two years, then $1,000 for the final year of study.

An award to assist women who have qualified to graduate with a doctoral degree within the last two years* to carry out research on a limited term project.
*Please note that this timeframe has been extended to three years to take into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One award to assist a woman graduate who will have completed a minimum of 3 years full-time, or six years part-time study towards a PhD or named Doctorate to have one semester free of teaching or administrative duties to facilitate completion of her PhD or named Doctorate qualification.
